Response From Classmate David Peterson

Thanks, Chuck.  Good to hear from you.

When I was at UW, I got out of the saxophone playing business, selling my sax to a fellow who could really play it.  A few years ago I googled him on a whim, found him up in the northeast (New Hampshire, I think), and contacted him.  Turns out he has been a professional musician since graduating from UW, and still uses my (our) sax regularly.  Pretty neat.

Best,  D.

Bob Hartwig Shares An Interesting Link To The “Nostalgia Machine” For Everyone To Enjoy

Hi,

Bob Hartwig sent the following email and link (below) to a great website I think you will enjoy.  It’s a walk down memory lane of the music we listened to “when we were young”  😉

Below it I’ve also included a link to a new website I just created for addressing party invitations — anniversary, birthday, wedding, etc.

Here are 53 years  worth of music videos where you can find about a hundred songs for each year.

*One of the best websites I have seen.*

*Set at 1960 but you can change the year to view*

*YouTube clips of the hits of the particular year.*

Enjoy.  And here’s the link to my website.

Cheers,

JoAnn

News About “Bette McNabb’s husband

2/9/15
Hi

Sorry I didn’t get to forward the following email from Trudy Johnson Gibbs sooner. It is additional information about Terry Thomas McNabb’s husband.

JoAnn,
————————–
Terry Thomas, now better known as Bette McNabb, lost her husband this week. Wylie McNabb was a 16-year survivor of a lung transplant, setting an all-time high survival record. His good fortune came largely though perseverance and extraordinary case management on the part of Bette. Wylie was a distinguished faculty member at the University of Chicago Medical School. He continued service even after he retired. Bette would drive him to meetings and stand by with a good book while he attended to important medical school business.
