Sorry I didn’t get to forward the following email from Trudy Johnson Gibbs sooner. It is additional information about Terry Thomas McNabb’s husband.
Terry Thomas, now better known as Bette McNabb, lost her husband this week. Wylie McNabb was a 16-year survivor of a lung transplant, setting an all-time high survival record. His good fortune came largely though perseverance and extraordinary case management on the part of Bette. Wylie was a distinguished faculty member at the University of Chicago Medical School. He continued service even after he retired. Bette would drive him to meetings and stand by with a good book while he attended to important medical school business.
