Access to the website

I received the following eMail message regarding problems logging into the website:

“Chuck

I tried to connect with the website and just a blank screen came up———–and the cursor froze. Had to shut down the computer. Have you had any other replies reporting problems such as that?”

Has anyone else had similar experience at any time?  Let me know

Website Update

Greetings everyone……

The “project” continues, with some progress noted:

  • More “nostalgia” classified posts from the past have been added. Use the “Catagories” dropdown to browse the choices.
  • A “Video Clips” tab has been added to the menu bar.  The dropdown menu shows “50th Reunion Interviews” and “General Interest Video Clips”.

Over the next few weeks, you may see different layout themes.  I am still trying to evaluate the over 100 theme choices offered.

Check back often, and by all means send in any photos, videos, and general news you wish to share!

50th Reunion video Link provided by Frank Swanson

This is a comment that Frank Swanson posted on the Home Page.

“Going back to our 50th Reunion in 2008, here’s the link to the video that I made of the Lake Mendota cruise that some of us took on Saturday:

Check it out to see some familiar faces now that we have this new website.”

Attention all you “techno geeks” do I have a link for you!

While I was streaming Leo LaPorte’s TWIT-TV “This Week In Google” one of the moderators offered his “pick of the week” that sounded very interesting.  The site is named “Urthcast.com“.  Translated into 1958 vocabulary think “earthcast.com.

It features satellite images from around the world from the International Space Station.   Check it out.  If you find it interesting, you could spend hours viewing all the options.

Enjoy.  ChuckR

PS – I also included the link to TWIT-TV which you might find interesting.
