When I was at UW, I got out of the saxophone playing business, selling my sax to a fellow who could really play it.  A few years ago I googled him on a whim, found him up in the northeast (New Hampshire, I think), and contacted him.  Turns out he has been a professional musician since graduating from UW, and still uses my (our) sax regularly.  Pretty neat.
